I can't understand why I struggle so much to choose DP for my cards - I have absolutely loads of different colours, textures and sizes all of which I had good reason to buy at the time. I just don't understand why it is so difficult - does anyone else have this problem or is there a good rule of thumb to go by? I would love to know.

What an unusual and lovely lay out. Beautiful papers and embellishments, they work so well together. I love the lace too and the little pearls on the parcel are a nice finishing touch.

PS i struggle with papers all the time - it doesn't matter how many I have, I never seem to have exactly the right thing at the right time lol!!

hi lil! this card is gorgeous! i love the pearls on the present; i usually use stickles, but now i'll see if i have pearls in that size - thanks for the inspiration! i struggle with papers too because i colour my images first, but i'm slowly changing my habit to finding papers and then colouring to match. thank you for playing along with the penny black at allsorts october challenge.
